Pain

Pain

A Poem by Nianque
"

Sometimes physical pain can you bring you to your knees

"

Blinding, Pulsating

Grabbing temples

Blinking back tears

Popping, taking more

It's never enough

Now it's done

Bowed over

Knees to the floor

Part 2 has started

Which is worse?

Sharp blinding pain

Or deep intense throbbing

Clutching head

Or holding my cradle of life

Can't think nor walk

Fighting but the floodgates opens

Can anybody help?

Can you hear me ?

I'm not crazy !

Breathing hurts

Every moment restricted

Everything stops

But I sigh for a moment

Knowing the next cycle of torment

Isn't too far off

I use to think that I knew pain but what I knew of pain was mild compared to last 9 months of my life. Now I once again think I know pain but I imagine it can get even worse. Pain is a constant reminder that we are alive, but too much pain is a reminder of why life ends. wonderful poem.

Pain indeed hits us in stages...before it just tears you apart completely....it begins with holding back your emotions and not showing them and then finally it all just comes forth in an intense rush.

Wow... This really makes you feel like you're in pain. And makes you feel really bad for people like you who suffer from things like this. You did a really good job on this one.

The pain in the head, the blurred vision, the ultimate fall in the plight of tension and migraine! I know this too well! xx

Very good detailing everything. Alot of people can relate to this poem, even myself, who suffers from migraines every now and then, and i can fully understand the pain you're going through.
