Skeleton's In the closetA Poem by NgiraiWhy do you have to lie? I can see fears in your eyes, Everybody has dark secrets You have something to tell, I have my skeletons in the closets The past isn't easy to tell, My dark secrets locked in the door You want to break them out. The town Is quiet and hidden No secrets to tell, no lies can be detected You always have to lie, lie, lie Never get the chance to show. Everyone know who you are, The little scars in your skin And those fake convos you spread, Stop lying to get out of your way, The darker side of you comes out Will you watch me pretend? You're a stranger in my life, Do you want to pretend? All those dead secrets behind the door, You can't hide those lies You don't have to pretend All what was left is skeletons in closets. I know you cared of another But you find like my heart I was afraid of to tell those truths All we know secrets can kill you, Do you love to hear my stories? Or do you keep it between the lines? I was being fooled by you But this town will hear my story, All I want you to know That secrets can't hide forever They will come to the light Exposes your weakness that's all I cared. Do you love that person more? I know those details, yeah they show If I were you this time I'd better packed my bags and leave. Waiting until the cards unfold You know It's for sure We all have skeletons in the closets, You can't hide those scars. All those betrayals have showed me You cheated my dear, Those words you've said No longer matter to me We've have all those secrets It is time for you to go away, The truth will come out, One way or another. © 2022 Ngirai |
