I AM DREAMINGA Poem by Ngawang TibetI’m dreaming, Dreaming like a child in the sleep, Never wish to wake from mother’s lap, Just want to have a beautiful dream, Dream of my mother’s folktale. I’m dreaming, Dreaming like an innocent kid in the wood, Playing with flowers and pebbles, No fancy toys and luxurious playground, But the earthly house and dirty clothes. I’m dreaming, Dreaming like a drunken man, Drinking the tears of the past, Vomiting the fears of the present, Never stop dreaming, never stop lying. I’m dreaming, Dreaming the world as a burden, It’s so heavy I could never be a guardian, I realized that I am the only stupid man, He does nothing but carries all the pain. I’m dreaming, Dreaming like an unstoppable wind, Never catches the truth of mind, But all the lies piled up like a mountain, Even the truth lies like a chieftain. I’m dreaming, Dreaming like the water, No need truth and no need lie, No need black and no need white, No need you and no need me. Just like the water, Pure and transparent, Clean and fresh, Flow with natural tendency, We all are nothing, but ashes. 1st July 2019
