The life of a feather

The life of a feather

A Poem by Ngawang Tibet

 The wind slapped on my face,
It’s waked me as a child,
Who slept for long over night,
Couldn’t speak a word except crying.

The world of my life,
Stepping into the space of imagination,
A creation of belief laid in-depth,
Shunning from the time of reality.

When the night breaks,
Clamoring over the past memory;
When the day breaks,
Smiling over the face of counterfeit.

I’m not who I am,
But a light weight feather,
Blowing by the gentle wind,
To an infinite direction of gratification.

I’m racing with heartbeat,
Paying every millisecond of the breath,
To reach the point of my creation,
But I’m dying as an aged sick man.

Nobody hears the whistle of help,
Merely I can whisper the word,
In the mode of silence and quietude,
Rather make a noise of imperfection.

Echoes of fantasy and amusement,
Conquered the plot of life course,
A heart to touch the sky and earth,
Is being a dream of never dreamed of.

Following the path of Romeo and Juliet,
Is quite a greatness of the life meaning,
But it’s a tragedy being summoned,
By the deeds of an uncertain emotion.

I questioned about life,
It keeps saying, “need to be pragmatic”
I questioned about love,
It keeps saying, “need to be romantic”.

But I’m still in the momentum of;
Dream, confusion, doubt, delusion,
And it’d never halt unless and until,
I’m enlightened as a worldly paragon.

A wonderful ride in your words.
"But I’m still in the momentum of;
Dream, confusion, doubt, delusion,
And it’d never halt unless and until,
I’m enlightened as a worldly paragon."
I liked the above lines. Feel of the ancient writers in the words. Worldly paragon, a twisted place where we can get lost in. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

The texture and layout of the poem are excellent, it reads smoothly, with a feeling of ease, and good imagery. Most of the words are all different, providing a fresh new verse every time.
