Newtqn, i thought this haiku was brilliantly executed and well thought out. It slowly, line by line, reveals the crux of the story. It really comments on the casual and systematic brutality of the healthcare system. The fraze "in the flesh" serves the purpose of setting the tone of the work as a whole, while also reinforcing the oppressive clinical nature of a society that views human beings as nothing more than bodies, or "flesh".
