Found small and young, full of life to give. Though I did not know your message, I found humor in your narrative.
Energy sprung from your feet, scrappy in a way. I tried to understand your message, so I made your light my day. During our travels abroad, you never failed as my guide. I started understanding your message, that you’ll never leave my side. Watching me walk out that door, not knowing if I’d come back in your life. I took your message with me as you began looking after my wife. Now your hair is turning grey, and I’m feeling pretty sad. I hope you know my message, you’re the son I never had.
