Moments Gone

Moments Gone

A Poem by Daniel Whitaker

I laugh,
I cry.
I stand and wait,
Wait for the moment.
The moment of new life,
Of new choices.

I left it behind,
Left it in the past.
You don't know what it's like,
What it's like to be rejected.

Lost in mind,
In soul,
In heart.
I needed encouragement,
You didn't want it.
I'm sorry,
I guess.

Oh so sad, I liked it very much. Amazing thoughts. And it's very hard to be rejected! Thanks for sharing.
