My Morning

My Morning

A Poem by Daniel Whitaker

It's burning away inside,
Trying to escape.
All of my secrets,
All of my secrets.
I get up every morning,
The world seems boring.
I walk to the mirror,
   I start screaming.
Looking at this face,
Looking at this face.
In this dreary world,
All I see is pain.
So many regrets,
So many regrets.

Really sad, deep and emotional piece.
But heartfelt and REAL!
I liked how you repeated the lines, made this piece more poetic.
Great work :)
