any stragglers,

as they either rush

by or they

float around me ..

So please,

feel free to ask any

questions ..

Okay, but only

if you are certain ..

Then tell me

about bad words ..

Sure,

but let’s just get

one tiny

thing straight first

shall we ..

There is no such

thing as

a bad word

in its own write ..

It’s only

those people who

variously

abuse and then

who tend to misuse

them who are

really that bad ..

Now where to begin

oh’ yes,

let’s start with hate ..

hey Neville. you've been very active recently but i have been missing your posts. i'll try and catch up, but this one was a stunner. cracking like a whip, this work unmasks the hypocrisy of middle-class 'politeness'. there is a lot of policing of words, completely forgetting that good and evil lies in the heart. people are seeking to control others when what we need is liberation. it's a great piece of writing, very thought-provoking.

I will never be convinced that there are truly any “bad words”. I mean who decided what got to be a curse word and what didn’t, especially when there are acceptable versions that mean the same thing. Why is one specific combination any worse than the other?
Probably where you were going with it too based off the last bit, but I would say slurs or other derogatory words could be the exception. Not because the word themselves are bad but they’re being used hatefully.
I love how quickly I can read your stuff but it becomes a bit of a problem when I need to stop and think about it. I’ll just be over here rereading until my brain catches up.

Too funkin' right mate!
I once had someone with too many marbles in her mouth tell me that bad language is a sign of knowing fewer words, to which I asked how that could possibly be when I know and use all the bad words I know while she ignores them, so obviously know more words than her.
I don't know if it was through shock of her being proved incorrect or the examples of bad words I lobbed in her direction, but it worked like a remote control and muted her immediately!
