Barely Visible Indentations

They were always

such delicate

and pretty little

indentations,

that I could never

quite get

my head around,

nor fully

understand why

she ever

tried to hide them

in the first place ..

After all,

they served only

to mark

briefly the site

where her panties

had once been ..

And then,

leaving behind

them faint

ribbon like criss

crossed

undulations which

reminded me so

much

of old fashioned

opaque,

pink and blue

forget me not’s ..

Those which,

I once used to trace

with my

fingertips and my

tongue

and the edges

of my thumb nails

before

spooning into you

for the night ..

Each of us warmed,

feeling so safe

and perfectly sated ..

this was electrifying. gave me butterflies. i also thought it was so clever. the title doesn't give anything away, and as we read on it is like a striptease. i liked the way the camera focuses on this one detail of this person - but like a synodoche, it captures the whole person body and soul. so much is said about this relationship as well - ntoticing the little things about each other. this is someone in love. and this is a couple that still has zest.

I still remember the first "indentations" I saw on a Woman's body.
I might have forgot what I had for breakfast yesterday and I might have forgotten to put shoes on going to the store, but I'll never forget those indentations as long as my arse points south!
