I'm not sure about the inspiration behind this write-up, but to me, it reflects the stories of many Asian women in abusive marriages. It's sad to hear about such things even in 2024, but you've captured that feeling with brevity.

Hi Neville, I saw this as a bit of a captivating dance, flirtacious, the night taking hold of them "both"...She "proceeds" to do this dance, I see it as a strip tease of sorts, however, she does not remove the "slave band" ...the wedding ring.
Very, very erotic. That's just me. The wedding ring does feel like a slave band at times during certain circumstances. Marriage is not always bliss. Thanks for sharing, Neville.
