her applying

sun oil before the sun

rose too

high and it got too hot

to handle

his 8x42’s or hold them

still enough

to see clearly through

the heat haze

and her wicked shimmer ..

Yep, I do that too Nev, think about summer somethings when winter is doing its best to make our knees clack together. I mean it's not our fault that some of these thoughts are of ladies that warm us up a treat! 😃
I remember one of my mums friends telling me as a kid to focus on something with a nice warm colour like red when we were walking to school in the snow, and to mini me's mind it flippin' worked. So anytime I'm out in the cold, I pay very close attention to post boxes, ladies with red hats on or if there ain't any about, I just imagine a lovely lady in a red bikini or even better, a red silk bow, that she seems to be having difficult with unwrapping herself and needs a hand to do it.
Now, what was I saying? Is it just me or is it getting hotter in here? 😃
