this is an interesting satire on the changing gender dynamics. the usual symbols we associated with male or female no longer apply, which makes it extremely challenging for writers to discuss the masculine and the feminine. it is an open question how those of us work with symbolism will operate under the new status quo. however, i personally think this is just a phase and will not last the decade.
