Let’s not kid ourselves

  

shall we ..

There seems no point

in us now

pretending everything

   is still okay ..

When it gets this bad,

even the thought

of turning back would

be pointless

and therefore serve no

   useful purpose ..

Yet if I was to say I am

not bothered

at all, by the thought of

us both letting go,

or that I was not just a

   tiny bit scared,

then would most surely

   be lying & truly,

   

   so whose kidding who then ..

Some things must end Nev, otherwise we'd all still be married to our firsts and that way madness lies.
Sometimes it's just best to shake hands and go off in opposite directions, but no running in the halls else you'll get detention!
