Inaudible Sounds

for some reason, I just can't stop listening 🤍

Inaudible Sounds

although I know I am

at least, an equal part of it ..

the silence here,

is quite simply killing me ..

from somewhere deep

within my core ..

I feel like some

kind of wild rotten apple ..

with it scratching

and gnawing at my insides ..

kind of like an earworm,

doing the rounds ..

trying to break free

from some invisible loop ..

yet somehow,

failing magnificently ..

I don’t even know

why I bother to mention it ..

after all, it’s nothing but

a series of inaudible sounds ..

The inaudible sounds that drive you crazy, like you are cooped up in some cage ...it would be better if you could hear the words....It seems like a huge problem you contend with...I think I would go batty myself if I hear inaudible noises and couldn't make out what is being said...."Trying to break free from some invisible loop".... It is the inaudible sounds that speak most loudly. It is them that are a part of us and like that ear worm they won't leave us alone. As for rotten apples they all rot after we eat them. A thought provoking write Neville.

I am the polar opposite Nev and get driven to distraction by anyone breathing too loudly in my vicinity.
I dont quite recall when the party animal inside me died, but i managed to keep the death notice out of tge papers, because all that rustling would have drove me bonkers! 😀
