Even when you were gone it seems you

were never

entirely alone, since you took most of

my good friends

along for a ride with you, big mistake babe

Why the apology for being authentic? Reminded me about a bloke I met years ago. He wanted to change everything about me from the way I looked to the clothes I wore. I twigged eventually that he didn’t like the real me, so I dumped him.

I am feeling strong emotions with this write, lots of negative ones. This write feels menacing. Does spilling the beans add fuel to the fire or does it bring peace? Sometimes turning the other cheek has its merits. Retribution has a sour taste. Burn a candle for the hurt.
