I can appreciate and concur when I think of the measuring of a year, but alas I cannot bring myself to feel the same about a day (not implying that you do or have here stated) But it has raised the question in me, how do I measure the making and the length of a day. Thanks for the wake up call - Measuring the Length of a Day - going to work on that one. -carl

The way time is unfelt is a heartbreaking and thoughtful concept, we all experience years and time differently, and you have captured that well :)

I read this beautiful poem in context of what is currently happening in the Middle East. A year in time is so precious. It makes me reflect on those individual fallen leaves, now lost forever. Here one minute and gone the next. All violence is abhorrent. It fills me with fear and dread. Make each day count, tell your nearest and dearest how loved they are. We never know what’s coming tomorrow. Such sadness here and a feeling of hopelessness Neville.
