on my way home from work yesterday eve .. accidents will always happen of course, this one never should have ..

Clearly departed,

as indeed

you most recently

and likewise,

now irrefutably are ..

And for all

those who may yet 

still be watching ..

Take note,

this is what happens

when one

inadvertently play

tag and then

gets bounced off 

the bonnet

of a speeding car into

the gutter

or sidewalk, or whatever ..

Yes indeed, this should never happen unless one is playing tag with cars and then absolute catastrophe happens and people get killed....this writing is very powerful and true to the writer's experience....which must have been frightening.....in a flash, life has changed.. and has been witnessed...

you have brought back a memory of just this sort od accident i witnessed as a child ; i was going to a Girl Guide meeting and saw a man hit by a car , it threw him up and he bounced off the bonnet ... it was done in an instant . I walked on feeling numb and never told anyone what i had seen until today ....

For you to witness the last moments of a life must have been horrendous. The timing and mention of playing tag makes me think it was a young person. Not some thing easily forgotten.
