... these maybe just words .. but I do dig the beat n rhythm, even if I do say so myself ..

What Might Once Have Been

 

Dear lord how I do despise myself

these days ..

The space I fill, of simply being me ..

Indeed all of

those lies, that lay now between us

plus all I once

loved, did feel, wonder and see ..

It seems all that

what surely was and truly, might now

well have just been

still, quiet and cruelly, nowt but a dream ..

What occurred before the lies wasn't a dream. What changes things is deception and when that occurs it puts a different flavour on things and can shake us to the core. There is pain here, I felt it.
