It was all too easy

Falling in love I mean..

 

Just look at

those shoulders man

 

And since he dumped

the excess plumage

 

Sshh babe, I feel

I might just somehow fly

Poor Icarus flying too close to the sun. He had a long way to fall. Falling in love is easy for some, not for others. You can fly without wings. I do, frequently. I soar in the thermals of my mind. And I will stop there. Your little piece of brevity has so much between the lines, I am I danger.... of writing a book :)

Icarus was just misunderstood. He had a moth complex and was most likely Scottish and really called Eckarus... Because we so rarely see the sun, we all gather and make ooh and aah sounds, whilst pointing at the sky ball fire thingy. Trying to fly to it is more common than you think up here.
It ain't the flying that kills ya, it's the extreme stop at the end where terminal velocity is introduced to pavement 😀

I reckon there is a distinct possibility he was from o'er the border... in all the photo's I've seen of him, he's wearin a white tartan kilt and ya can just make out the end of his skean dhub tucked into his sock, just above the sandal strap....
