.... My dear Mum Mary passed away a year ago today early ..

 

The Wind Cried Mary

 

The wind it

Called her name

And she was gone

But a star

Was born instead

 

And while no one

Knows

For sure

Just how many

Stars burn bright

 

Mark these words

My friend another one

Shall surely shine tonight

While I shall whisper soft 

Her name again that of Mother

... these words were written on the morning I first became an orphan .. and when I never felt more vulnerable ..

Sorry for your loss, Neville, and surely a new star will appear in the heavens...I will look for it tonight.
My own Mum is going on 95...still OK with the exception of the dementia, but not looking forward to the end whenever that shall come. Only God knows for sure.
