Now that has got to be one unusual hobby Neville. I collected foreign stamps as a child of nine, still have my album somewhere. I also have collected some pieces of porcelain that I have treasured over the years, but collecting poets? How do you do that? Do you put them on show in a display cabinet? Of course you may do if you are referring to books, and books aren't a science. They are literature of course. This is deep. Deeper than the ocean but it still brought a smile to my face. Good morning.

I just love this! It reminds me of someone so amazingly pristine and a Rose pure white. She’s a princess in an ivory tower to whom mortal poets and scribes pay unconditional homages. Some people are just born lucky. Way to go N!

S**t....I thought I was the only one. A rare, near mint (good condition), (ok very fine), (slightly damaged) artifact but now I see that I am relegated to the bottom drawer for much heartier specimens such as yourself. Well, on to a new dream....

Murderous...lol. You know how to make a lad feel desired.
and why do I get an image of a diverse group of individuals pinned wrist and ankle to a black velvet background...mouths open and moving, but no sounds forthcoming.
Good one, N.

i couldn't help but think of Taylor Swift and how she is accused of acquiring and dumping boyfriends so that she can have fuel for writing her songs...
she probably has a shelf full of them.
this is quite clever, my friend...a hobby...:)))
i could think of worse things to collect...and there would be quite the variety in the collection, yes?

I quite like the turn of phrase, in relation to poets, it gives rise to many imaginings, at least in my head it does ... a shelf full of em, is a different kettle of fish altogether, although dont they say variety is the spice of life and all that jazz :)... Many things we can collect. A writer or poet. Hard to keep lock-in or lock-away. Interesting words shared my friend. Thank you Neville for sharing the amazing poetry.
