This sums up most of the people I consider to be friends. We all fade away as the years go by, but the intensity of a true lasting connection never does fade. Thinking, for me, turns into feeling that other person . . . a fleeting sensation, then poof! I honestly don't have the bandwidth to keep up with all the connections I used to dabble in!
