"

it may be similar, but baby, it aint the same...

"

Poem

This gift of words I give to you

a song without a tune

More precious than a starved

sky watched

Without a single

sun or star or moon

I can always count on you to present an ordinary idea in a startling & thought-provoking way. Sometimes I need to have a second cup of coffee before I can comment on your ingenuity in like fashion! I love the phrase "starved sky" . . . it makes me want to stop describing everything in nature as being fulsome. I totally get how this sky looks (((NUGS))) . . . this time my typo was "NUBS"! Fondly, Margie

You are welcome my friend.
The best gifts can and should be words, everything else is just thing's.

Wonderful piece without a tune but a sound cadence will always do :)

Nev,
A highly imaginative poem. Less, indeed, can be more! If there are no heavenly lights, then let these simple poems light up the sky!

The most treasured kind of gift. I love a dark, night sky. It’s hypnotic.

How true and I thank you cuz...becuz I can & do always :)
A blank sky, no moon, no stars, no clouds, no sun, no rainbows, no birds, you have left an empty canvas. That tells me you have nothing to say. You have nothing to give.

I love the expression starved sky. I have a desire to feed the sky suddenly. It's all about balance.
