I like how this is the video game era and allows us this level of understanding. In a game as a sniper I don't think about how the man or woman is oblivious to me as I look at them through the crosshairs, how I will end their life with the click of a trigger, and how even if they run they won't escape. The detachment and necessary reasons to kill in that moment so opposed to the way we live our lives outside the game. It's a perspective I understand, a split that must be made to live with your actions for all eternity... For if you hesitate, you cost lives, and you'll regret that for all eternity too.

there are those who shoot hearts from a distance...they zero in on the target, but themselves, they never get close enough in their hearts.
