One of my dictionaries said Aitho means everything and another one said it means author, I am more confused than before and stopped looking for meanings and just held the awesome picture of mount Etna's glowing lips.( were you in Sicily when she erupted recently?)

I have travelled nowhere, really, but (sentimentally speaking) my heart has travelled everywhere. Or longs to, anyway. I’m always exploring unfamiliar languages and cultures in the hope that someday I will find myself in a place where the words and ideas I’ve absorbed can be put to use.
I chose this poem, first, because its title was a word I didn’t know. And then. It captured my imagination further with the beautiful painting of that sunset. It feels grounded in the moment. The poem, I mean.
I can smell those oranges. That color rivaling the sky.
Lovely work, Neville.

'Aitho''
Neville Pettitt,
The natural cycle of the earth seen in above writing is really picturesque. I love how the juice of a bright blood orange is used to describe the orange of lava? Well then, the mountain snow responds with it's own melting and dissolving before the mountains fire and power. Three lines with a lovely and strong picture and message. Life events happen suddenly this way too.
Blessings,
Kathy

The image of Etna I believe at sunset. Orange sky tinting the snow, while the red hot mouth of her glows with fiery passion. I too would burn if I had witnessed that.Superb imagery Neville.
