If I could pick my favourite line here it would be, “Nothing’s built to last” On spot and how real can we get! Words are words are just words and yet they do last on paper forever (or at least for a long time to come) Then, there will always be those people who will figure in them somewhere in summer rain or winter squall. They were built to last.
Appreciated much, dear N

Haha. I like bunnies. The kind that play in the grass 😹
A bittersweet symphony of acceptance, liberally sprinkled with regret at what was not meant to be. I'm sure this is a tune that most, if not all would recognise Neville.

bittersweet will do for me my friend, many thanks and true...
As someone who struggles too often with expressing myself in terms of words, I highly relate to this. ..'nothing's built to last' but oh, we still keep hoping, don't we? ...
Lovely flow here, Neville.

hah that's my monkey face for those who think I'm wayy too serious lool thank you, N ;) :P
...for some reason this one breaks my heart, but then you sprinkle a little hope on it...I really appreciate your brief style, it's refreshing. Also, why do poignant feelings always come with warnings? and harbingers of doubt? Goodbye Thomas Hardy, goodbye Poe, goodbye punishing poets of the past, and those who delight in torturing hearts... and those others desperate to condemn what can easily be turned around....with a little endurance or imagination or commitment? Luv yer poems-all 'em. Cheers, Melissa

You say it all, Your own way, how to love her, how You love her, and how You will keep loving her. such a very lovely poem, deep... for those who can grasp the beautiful meaning behind Your touching words.

will i'm happy you finally answered :)
no worries. I am not keeping score. (:
A high note indeed for someone. A hope that will last longer than a season of shaping words in summer. Winter has always been chilly. Wouldn't it be nice to have warm winters too. Romantic Neville. Lucky is the woman who has netted you.
