I Did Once Wonder

I Did Once Wonder

A Poem by Neville

I Did Once Wonder

Oh’

How

I

Did

Once

Wonder

Where

Indeed

They

Went

Her

Wandering

Womb

Relentless

Despite

Those

Passions

All

Well

Spent

No

Bruise

Or

Scar

Apparent

They

Are

Firmly

Locked

Inside

Her

Head

Oh

How

I

Did

Once

Wonder

Where

Indeed

They

Went

Don't even get me started, Neville.
That damn uterus of mine used to get up to all sorts of adventures...it would sneak out while I was sleeping, see, and, wrapping itself in an old scarf to protect itself from sand and stones, off it would go.
No idea what it got up to or where it went, but that damnable uterus just drove me insane until it wore out and was too old to have babies. That's when it settled down, and no more wandering...that is, that I am aware of.
I am just making fun of it, dear one, because it's all that I can do.
My best wishes and a big hug to Mrs. N.P....I do hope it all turns out well.
I cannot imagine anyone not responding to your sweet concern and tenderness. It shows in your writing, so I know that it is in you.
Time and tenderness, that's the cure.

angel, for once I am truly lost for words, so am just gonna say thank you... Neville
when a woman is emotionally hurt, her desires will disappear, she will turn into a stone, no touch will mend her wounds, because they are in her heart, mend her heart with warmth, tenderness and loveliness, and she will be Yours again.

another enjoyable read my friend, I read it few times, the gentle plea in Your words is heard in each read, so never worry about that :)

This poem did speak to me of the formidable, enigmatic female psyche. One with an indomitable spirit in any avatar she takes, be it Marilyn Monroe or Mata Hari. She’ll keep them guessing! Oh yes! :)

the irony of not understanding about women and everything about them remains a mystery that needs to be unravel slowly

I think it will take me several lifetimes, but thanks for the tip my friend...
This one made me smile. I think the more one tries to understand the intricate workings of a female's mind, the more they'll wonder and probably end up cracking their own head. I wouldn't wonder too much if I were you :P Lol this is a good one. :))

Nice work Neville , life is like that , you meet a girl but she isn’t settled, a wanderer of sorts like a gypsy and we never do forget these charismatic types.

Thanks again Andrew, you are far too generous, but of course, I like it... N
The she here, has a very voracious appetite by the sounds of it. Maybe she will never be satisfied. Sounds like she is searching for something she will never find. I am wondering too Neville. Good evening to ya.

Wandering womb and inside her head are phrases reminiscent of how serious illnesses in women were put down to hysteria. Hysterical women who doctors thought mad by their womb moving around their body...thankfully not in the dark ages any more. Well, not as dark :)

My least favorite poetic form would be one-word lines strung out like this! But I'm outnumbered becuz many poets write this way! (So I won't complain). I love your rhyming message that seems to suggest there's something nymphomaniac-like that might be hiding up there in her pretty little cranium, a happenstance which you once gave a freaking dill pickle about. Other than that, I'm not really sure where you're going with this . . . *heh! heh! heh!* Have a great weekend! (((NUGS))) Fondly, Margie
