Today aint that bad and tomorrow brings a whole market of possibilities... N

Another New Day

 

As dawn introduces

Yet another new day

With a mere hint of

Gold

Against a backdrop

Of grey

Tis yet but a seed

Tho is lighting the way

For pilgrims and lovers

And those

Needing to pray

So remove those moist

Curtains

They just get in the way

Heed that light

In the distance

Tis no longer grey

It is surely golden

And glowing

Tis the birth of a

Brand new day

I love this poem, with dancing rhyme & rhythm, but also I love the message, which reminds me of my every morning (always been a morning person). Now that the ole carcass is a little wobbly, it can require some "warming up" before I'm quite as dancy bright as in your poem, but that's how I feel inside even when the outside hurts, becuz I'm surrounded by amazing uplifting wilderness! *smile* Fondly Margie

awwwwwwwww! Neville ...... just for me?? :) such an easy flowing read sir ..love the content .. as a matter of fact I started my day with praying the "Our Father" ... its not a habit that I have but that little seed and tiny light moved me this morning .. and brand new it is eh!? in every way .. just the maze of dust particles in the air ... life teeming in the soil, grasses and us ... thanks for the first read of my morning sir ..it lifts up,inspires and teaches all at once ... i am still enjoying reading
