She Flushed Him AwayA Poem by NevilleDon't kid ya self, it happens every day........She Flushed Him Away Having rigorously brushed Both her hair and her teeth She cautiously stepped into A brand new day and just for Very good measure she
claimed A tear had been
shed somewhere On the way Now whilst that may or may not Have been the case and true On reflection it is simply So very hard to say And my dear friend it is for That same
indeed that very Same reason
I envy the secrets Many
mirrors hold Since their privileged gaze Would never break or ever Give that lady's name and
game away Knowing this she
felt safe enough To flush what
was left of him away With the first
wipe of a brand new day
Such was the freedom he spoke of
But until that moment She
could never fully or truly understand © 2018 NevilleReviews
