"What a Wonderful World"
Neville Pettitt,
Blasts of contrasts in this whimsical poem. By your above note it's wonderful to see something written a while back and for your own daughter. I wonder if she has it. Probably. Anyway it did my heart good to read something just because its light hearted.
Blessings,
Kathy

You tapped into that childlike joy. Animals and birds are wonderful and the way you played with them just brought smiles in me.
Blessings, I hope you continue to have bright days and moments which spur your imagination.
Blessings,
Kathy
I just realized I haven't seen you here in a few days? All your female admirers are missing you, I'm sure. Glad to run across this one in my reading list, so I can imagine you're not too far . . . hopefully you'll be back in a while. This poem is adorable. I can't decide whether to wish I had a dad like this or wishing I'd been near enuf to watch you be a dad like this. It's all too adorable & original & slightly up-ended, just like you can make things feel at times! *smile* Fondly, Margie

It might be such a wonderful dream....I could sit in the sun all day instead of this dark hallway...but then would I Be me? would you be you? maybe not....but it would be a wonderful dream.

That wonderful mind of yours works miracles. Bex's beautiful imagination ignited at an early age by her brilliant dad. I love to read her poems too.

We do wish we can rearrage the world we live in, add things, delete things, change sizes, forms, fortunes and so forth. Part of our childhood and great imagination, I guess. This was really different and unique. I saw a history magazine titled" what if"...Very intersting hypotheticals...
Like what if John Kennedy was not assasinated...

Wonderfully imaginative Neville. I can imagine you sitting down and reading this to Bex. I bet you are a great Dad. This is so captivating for children and adults alike. Well done

and grew to the size of a whale
That's just the sort of writing that so appeals to little people
