No Pillow Required

 

I want to write words

to make you want me

as much as I want you

I want to scribe them

on the walls of

magnificent cathedrals

and courtyards too

for the whole word

to touch taste and see

 

Then and only then

I want to paint you

in the reflection

of tall mirrors and

to trace those circles

with your fingers

chasing mine

across your belly

to begin with

and where no pillow

on such an occasion

is required….....

Good morning Neville, how can I be brutal about this lovely uplifing, love poem which warms the heart? So tender and full of loving and longing at the same time. Wouldn't it be wonderful to stay in that state permanently. Alas, after a period of time we are all brought back closer to earth rather than being up there in the stars. Very much enjoyed the read.
