I very much enjoy your short & sweet portrayal of the most dreary of all human realizations -- that this gig goes by so dang quickly! *sigh!* Dwelling is a curse, for sure. Being old has been a gift for me, becuz my grinding mind has cleared out & now I'm open & receptive to whatever momentary delights might flit by! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Yes, but... may I dwell on a few of them almost too long? You are right, of course, and the past cannot be accessed, but only in moments of reflection. All those times I zigged instead of zagged. The girl I should have pursued instead of that other one. Strong and brutal, I may not be.

Oh! finally my brain got it! lol, OK, after reading Your thoughts I'm thinking what if life but some handful of moments? I would spend each moment in a special place, no, not to dwell too long in one of them, there is a big message on Your words, You try to tell that we should not be stuck on our place because we will lose many chances that pass by, we must make actions to our life, so we must also learn... from what we have missed before.
Thank You for sharing Your thoughts with us dear friend.

Hey what a delightful review you have left for me, many thanks indeed......N
I was neither drunk or crazy when i typed my review to and for you.. have no idea why such a garble of words. I'm very sorry. Will repeat and type slowly and pray technology does its job.
Your words remind me of Rabindrinath Tagore, the Bengali poet.. so aware of the all around world..
Your poem's composed wtih gentle phrasing that reads like both song and mild-tempered advice. The meaning of the entire piece guides heart and mind to be aware.. and then, to find sleep. Lovely moments - and more. Missed opportunities are indeed memories best forgot.
(Seems the gremlines are afoot or few, now your response has evaporated!
