I Have to Go

 

I have to go my lady cried

There is someone calling

From the other side

 

And although it seemed

To take forever

It happened overnight

 

Just a tiny speck of light

Cut through

The darkness of the night

 

There is no happy ending

As far as I can see

Misery alone waits here for me

It is a small world many times. Sadly I’m and only 42 and I have lost a lot of childhood friends to drug overdoses. Haven’t seen many of them for years but once upon a time we all were close friends
