Life Before Bar-codes

Do you remember

What life was like                                            Before implants

                                        Before bar codes

Before dress codes                                          Before micro chips

Before cell phones

Before downloads                                            Before who knows

?

I think the best part is how the bars are set up to look like barcodes. I love when writers do stuff like that, its so creative.
It does ask a good question. Do you remember what it was like. is it worth remembering the past does our present make us hate the future? Good job

I do miss the days of paying with cash and people having real conversations. New world. Don't need human contact. It is sad when I try to talk to people. I see in their eyes. They lost the skill of basic conversation. Thank you Neville for sharing the realistic and true poetry.

Gee
Before the X box when children would be seen on the street. These days it's like a modern day King Herod has had his wicked way.

Darn right my friend, oh' & thanks again...
A cleverness of words... and even more so, of thought.

Each threesome makes for more.. especially the third.. or maybe the second touches base.. but then, the first reminds one of something

Inventive, frugal but full.

Ha! Vaguely, I do.. love the clever form of this looking like bar codes themselves. Soon we’ll have them stamped on our foreheads. Witty, relevant, humorous write!

Yes I do Neville, I know time & technology moves on but has the milk of human kindest moved accordingly?

A thoughtfully provoking open question, perfectly presented !
