Whilst the title might be a tad misleading, if you have ever wandered along any of the beaches in East Africa, you will understand only too well where I am coming from.... N

Unlucky for some lady Number 13

Tease lady Number 3

 

Black or white or cappuccino even

They are all the same to me

Occasionally I still think of number 3 though

the East Coast of Africa ..and then some has been a humanitarian powder keg for decades ..seems has spread west currently ..but so much i think goes down that also goes missing .. your numbers are ladies so the trafficking is a "pop up" for me .. certainly could be way off ... but seems all of Africa has more than a fair share of horrors these days and in the past ... your poem drains blood from my face and i turn to my only weapon in such cases .. prayer, empathy, prayer, sorrow, and prayer ... :((

Hey my good literary friend, many thank you's for your in depth consideration of these words. I have previously spent considerable time volunteering at a psychiatric hospital (actually the only psychiatric hospital) in the Gambia and have personal insights into both the compelling beauty and of course the many horrors that is frankly Africa..... I am presently staying at our beautiful rural bolt hole in Bulgaria having recently sold the house in England and awaiting a completion date on our old cottage in the west country...
