Luck

Luck

A Poem by Neville

Luck

Hey Babe

Maybe our luck

Is changing

Last night

We won 2.5 million

On the lottery

Next week

Maybe baby we

Might win the jack pot

Ha. I love this one. I always wonder the logic of those who keep playing. It's how I felt after my second child, and a really difficult birth. There were so many who questioned the wisdom of stopping at 2. I am like, really? I won the lottery, TWICE. Why tempt fate again?

Makes me think of the Beatles song, "Money can't buy me love". Very clever turn of phrase here. Lydi*
