To the uninitiated

It sounded distinctly like

‘Twat’

 

But before it dissipated

It was followed by

‘Owzatt’

 

Then by rapturous applause

From all four corners of the

‘Oval’

 

Now how could that be possible?

The ignorant inquired

Go ask Tom

 

He knows all about such things

The umpire somewhat

Sheepishly replied

…
