That is awesome! Reminds me of a song "Every Morning" by Sugar Ray.

Every morning there's a halo hangin
From the corner of my girlfriend's four post bed
I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it for
The weekend or a one-night stand

I always liked that song because I see the boyfriend just picking up the halo and strutting out the door to use it to pick up some other chick.

Your poem gives me the same impression. Just take it, use it, don't worry about returning the good intentions. Have to wonder about whether the speaker is a man or woman - doesn't matter in the long run, but sparks a good conversation.

My favorite part, though, is the appearance. Perfect! Well done, indeed!

Halo. I am often chasing my Halo
down the street... Are you looking
forward to Spring and flowers
with birdsong... As much as I am ?

Ouch! And this is where you shine so bright. A sarcastic quip with a lot of bite! And just because I have the time I tease you with my little rhyme!
