Exactly where I like to be, between two birds at the bar, regardless of time or age, I will be their best fiend by the time they leave...as I am sure you would be as well. Great one my friend!
I loved this poem...I loved the way you arranged your ideas in multilayered form...Everytime you read you will get a different interpretation of this poem..I especially liked the title..It perfectly fitted the poem..Overall , great work...
Keep on writing and thanks for sharing..

Ah surrealism and humour I love that. Layer upon layer, I love that as well. Predatory birds in both ways. Love that. In fact I cannot find anything not to love here so I am sorry I cannot take it apart.

Thank you Ken, I am well & truly honoured..... Neville
lol, love that. Actually reminded me of when a crow actually stepped into one of our local bars. It wasn't too busy at the time, so no one really noticed it until a woman opposite the end of the bar screamed. The bird then flew up and got lost on how to get out. The bartender grabbed a broom and we all went to one side of the bar, and basically "shoved" it outside the door. Quite the event!! lol

Squashed at the bar between two women eh? I guess if you were wearing dark glasses everything would have appeared black. I have to confess when I read this first time I saw two crows, but on second reading realised that I wasn't in the natural environment and that you had taken us inside a bar. Clever, how you do that with your words. The conversation between the two birds is funny. Was one of them deaf? Good evening Neville.

Ah, Neville, so subtle, so clever. This one speaks volumes without saying much at all. To all the sad and dark and only meeting and commiserating.:)
