'TRIPPING'

Out of the depths of the darkest night

From out of the shadows there came a light

She came to me on a tame cosmic cloud

She looked divine in her velvet shroud

With lips of lead she kissed the sun

And stroked my thigh with her laser gun

We visited uncharted planets and a dying star

For which we said a prayer

We saw a space war from a mountain of rust

We watched a space w***e in the valley of disgust

Then blood ran cold like liquid stone

As she turned and said `it’s time to go home’

Ohhhh love at the drive-in? I remember it well...and fondly. GREAT imagery and wonderful metaphor too. Filled with young sensual desire and written elegantly. Lydi**

You got me blushing now x
okay - historic poem -fooling around at a drive in movie? Star wars? Star Trek? Am I remotely close? Anyway, I enjoyed the visuals it brought me, even if I was way off base - pun intended.
