TrippingA Poem by NevilleThe first poem I ever wrote 10.12.1972'TRIPPING' Out of the depths of the darkest night From out of the shadows there came a light
She came to me on a tame cosmic cloud She looked divine in her velvet shroud
With lips of lead she kissed the sun And stroked my thigh with her laser gun
We visited uncharted planets and a dying star For which we said a prayer
We saw a space war from a mountain of rust We watched a space w***e in the valley of disgust
Then blood ran cold like liquid stone As she turned and said `it’s time to go home’ © 2014 NevilleAuthor's Note
