Some of you will think this is shit, some of you will think this is morbid. Approaching my birthday, as indeed I am, I have begun to question my own mortality yet again but for some reason or another even more profoundly than before.....Maybe I should have called it 'Sixty Summers Long'

Hmmm...perhaps it's a milestone birthday, but regardless of whether it's an event or not, these questions raise their heads from time to time. For me, it's when I stop and actually think "what's this all about?" " Do I make a difference?" "Does anything matter?" and it tends to occur more frequently in winter time too. I guess, having lost people I care about, I don't think the gap ever truly closes, we just learn to get familiar with it that it becomes less noticeable. As they say "life goes on". Excellent writing. Justine :)

A perfectly reasonable question indeed, and yet another, what does it matter, because we won't be there to see it anyway:)
