As indicated in my brief description, this is now quite ancient in comparison with anything written before the 21st century kicked in, therefore in an atomic world of sex, drugs and rock and roll - Welcome back to the age of steam....Thanks to my mate SM for the later quote

I like the title choice of this poem so much. Let There Always Be Another Day, is so full of hope for the future. So full of life which I guess is how you feel when you are young. These are a young man's words. Another of yours I have read before, but see more on further readings. The lavender and rosemary are still abundant in my garden. The rosemary now far more established and twice the size and so aromatic. I just love rubbing the needles between my fingers and breathing in that head clearing fragrance. Takes you back in time to the sixties and then of course there is Turquoise and now you have the book too. Sensual and delightfully fragrant Neville.

I enjoy your juxtaposition of "sex, drugs, rock-n-roll" (in authors notes) to the actual poem penned, which seems almost too delicate & earnest for this rowdy jokester your young self might've been long ago. This is eons beyond your current usual, in terms of being touching & romantic. I could imagine being on a rope swing from a tall tree on a flouncy autumn day (((ARCs))) Fondly, Margie

Wonderfully done. I enjoyed the read of your note as well. Your objective was clear by the end of the poem. It's best to leave things to the imagination and that you did wonderfully. Tyfs

Sometimes Naivete makes for some great writing. The colors and the textures and the smells drive this one, and the promise of new love and burgeoning lust....yeah, I said burgeoning lust. Sue me. Great writing Neville.

Reminds me of the sixties, flower power and all that loving. This is a romantic, sensual write and and aromatic too. Lavender and rosemary are in abundance in my garden. I love them both. I know Turquoise has a special meaning for you. You have spoken of it before. Let there always be another day.

You have a good memory Chris... thank you for such an uplifting visit... Neville
I do admire a writer with several paths into his/ her wisdom. I didn't see the age of this and so it didn't concern me. The romance in this is quiet and breeze like.

Thank you Ken... appreciated far more than you might imagine....... N
' Come to me ~ With the scent of ~ Rosemary and lavender ~ And .. '
Words to sigh a woman's heart: no cussing, no scarlet language. Sweetly laid words showing what can be a decent, natural need for touch and warmth. Rosemary for remembrance, touches of butterfly wings, scent, colour - total sum = delight. (Not sure today's youth is as... charming.)
