The word 'fecundity’

In my personal opinion

Is one of those words

 

I had often heard of so to speak

But never actually used in real terms

Until the eve of my 42^nd birthday

 

The word 'fecundity’

In my own humble opinion

Is one of those words

 

That both could and should be

Used more often in everyday speak

 Around the globe

 

And most definitely more so

Than certain other words

 In particular

 

Some of those all too frequently

Inappropriately used and

Often offensive four letter ones like

 

Hate and Risk and

Love and Nice

 .

Fecundity, the ability to produce immense ideas, there are also other meanings. This reader is left wondering what was so interesting about the eve of your 42nd birthday? Hate, risk, love and nice. There is only one there which I would find offensive. Hate doesn't feature in my vocab, the others can be expressed in so many different ways. An intriguing and deep write, but yours often are.

I have... as of yet not used the word fecundity in anything and i feel a deep lacking for it and as I type these lines and still cant think of a decent use for this word! The bunny is ashamed for i do use the word love quite frequently tho. I shall endeavor to use this word tho I must admit when pronouncing it sounds rather like a malady..."Sir, I'm glad to say your fecundity is benign however we will still have to remove it as a preemptive measure." Said the uniformity surgeon. Well I tried... hey what happened on your 42nd birthday?

Some words are tip o' tongue easy - four letters or less. Either that or - pedantic, long-winded or take your choice when communicating! Seems that six years ago you worded cleverness with ease.. oops - four letters! Effortlessness? Guess the old ones are the best, new ones, too.

My spawn are 22 and 17 and are prone to using the word "sick" as in "awesome" and it chaps my hide. I am not the greatest wordsmith on this orb but words have power - developing the muscle to wield them is primary to me. I love discovering a new way to say something - fecundity would be a great word to bring back.
