Goodbye Acacia

You must go now

For the sake of a new view

And to make way

 For Nikoli’s well and his bloody barbeque

The tree bore no fruit for many years and was dying. We also needed the space for the pool and BBQ

Harsh. Feels like you were ripping a lover out by the roots. I never thought to write a poem about taking down the blasted dwarf Christmas tree to make way for the fence. I wish I would have. :)
