I want to see

The world through 

Dali's eyes

And write 

Like Hemmingway

To share the blues 

And greens

And all the in-betweens

And to take your breath away

An oldie out for an airing. Many would like to write like Hemmingway. His writing has depth to it. Yours does too Neville. Now Dali certainly sees the world with different eyes. When you look at his paintings you certainly see things in a different light. An acquired taste methinks. Your second stanza is quite lovely. Blues and greens are a fine combination. Makes me think of sky and trees and they are certainly worth looking at.

I usually dismiss without reading poems in shapes or poems that use line spacing as part of the art, but this was pretty cool. Like falling a long way and not finding a bottom. Thanks.

I think we can all learn from Dali and Hemingway. They had a particular world view that spoke volumes to many generations. Wonderful poem.
