The Pain-Mongers Opinion

The Pain-Mongers Opinion

A Poem by Neville

The Pain-Monger’s Opinion

Those irons of yours are far too hot

The Pain Monger implied

He won’t feel a bloody thing

When you tear out his insides

And furthermore

That blade is too sharp

Those hooks are not barbed

And each of those weights

Are way too light

To have any impact whatsoever

In fact

To be perfectly blunt

Since he no longer responds

To any of your non verbal commands

It would appear

You are a total failure

The Pain Monger eventually sighed

hmm.. I can understand this as when you give someone too much at once, they go into shock.. and don't feel a thing, like when you are beyond pain and you're over the limit, there's nothing else that can possibly hurt you more... and your senses have shut down... there is a rawness here that affects deeply.
