The dark shadow

Leaning against the lamppost

Leering up at your window

You may be forgiven

For thinking we are on the stage

Of a typical Hitchcock movie

However

You will soon realise that not a single

Rehearsal has ever taken place

And only after

You have drawn the curtains

Will I straighten my collar

Flick my cigarette

Into the gutter

Only then

Will I dare swallow

Your telephone number

love the daring impressions in this, a bit of stalker mystery intrigue happening not forgetting how well written and easily this flows, makes the reader want to know what is burning through the mind of this fellow to go to those lengths and take the time in order to find his answer or courage, very interesting piece.

LOL honestly I very much dislike the ringing of telephones and mobiles, it gives me a disturbing never, now I guess You gave me another reason why to dislike it. what an imagination and flow my friend, I think You should call Hitchcock from his grave so You both make a scary "alluring" movie 😉, with You being the main actor for sure 😎.
