Eden Had a Harlot

Eden Had a Harlot

A Poem by Neversee
"

One of my oldest, earliest attempts..

"

Eden had a harlot you know
Her name was passion I'm told
But she wasn't always known as so
She fell from grace in winter cold

From within shimmering air and glistening snow
In the confusion her confidence grew bold
Her sins in broad daylight were cast aglow
Her heart ensnared, her senses were slowed

For

Deceit comes even in the rarest of beauties
Lurking in the simple places
With believable, encouraging entreaties
And coveted honesty for faces

Eden had a harlot you know..

The rhyming scheme is spot on, and I wouldnt change a single word. I really like the format of this one. The rhythym is great. Excellent work.
