Technicolour boredom

Technicolour boredom

A Poem by Dan
"

Expressing tedium through colour

"

Technicolour boredom

My life is too beige,

Vague like a tedious plague,

I'm green with envy,

Zealously jealous I fade.

I'm feeling so blue,

Not azure, that's too pure,

But darker, harsher,

Fashioned of doubt riddled shade.

Think you're in the pink?

In synch with your instinct,

Life is so easy,

This tincture, I have mislaid.

Let's paint the town red!

Said thought equals dread to me,

Fun lies dead to me,

Inertia a bed to me.
